For self-employed contractors

Everything for working with self-employed — in one place

The platform takes on all operational load: from contractor registration to automatic tax calculation and withholding.

Instant Payouts

Contractors receive their remuneration immediately after task confirmation. Payouts to any Uzbekistan bank card — Humo or Uzcard.

Tax agent duties — automated

From 2026, a legal entity acts as a tax agent for payouts to the self-employed. The platform calculates and withholds the 1% turnover tax and prepares reporting for each contractor.

Uzbekistan compliance

Contractor Verification

We automatically verify self-employed status: the QR-code certificate from the Soliq app and the registered activity type. Contractors pass verification without your participation.

Bulk payouts from a register

Upload a file or send the register — the platform pays hundreds of contractors at once and checks the status for every row.

Limit and activity monitoring

We track how close contractors are to the 1 billion UZS annual income limit and check whether the activity is in the list of 72 permitted types (Decree No. UP-50).

Online document signing

The contract and acts are signed online with a digital signature (E-IMZO) — under Uzbekistan law this equals a paper document.

Documents for expense deduction

For every payout a contract–act–invoice set is assembled, confirming the expense and preserving the right to a profit tax deduction.

Frequently Asked Questions

The platform follows the Regulation on self-employed activity (Cabinet Resolution No. 806), the Tax Code and the 2026 changes (Law No. ZRU-1108): a written contract, act and e-invoice for each payment, status checks before payouts, and automatic withholding of the 1% tax.
Instantly. As soon as you confirm the task completion, the money is sent to the contractor's Humo or Uzcard card through our partner — the payment provider.
The platform creates a contract, a work completion act, and an electronic invoice (ESF) for each payment. In Uzbekistan a self-employed person's contract with a legal entity must be in written form — on the platform it is signed with a digital signature and equals a paper document.
From 2026, the self-employed pay a 1% turnover tax on income up to 1 billion UZS per year. For income received from legal entities, the tax is withheld at source by the legal entity acting as tax agent (Law No. ZRU-1108). AKJET automates the calculation, withholding and reporting. No personal income tax or social tax is charged on payouts to the self-employed.
Self-employed status is confirmed by registration in the Soliq app and a QR-code certificate. AKJET checks it automatically before every payout: if the status is inactive or the activity type is not in the list of 72 permitted types (Decree No. UP-50), the payout is not processed. The platform also tracks the 1 billion UZS annual limit.
The main risk is reclassification of the contract as an ordinary civil-law contract with an individual or as employment: the company may then face additional personal income tax (12%) and social tax (12%). The platform helps build a correct model: the contract describes a result rather than a process, work is one-off in nature, every payout has an act and an e-invoice, and the contractor's status and activity type are confirmed on the payment date. Note: a self-employed person may not hire workers and may not simultaneously be an employee of a business entity.
If total income exceeds 1 billion UZS, the self-employed person must switch to VAT and profit tax from the day of exceeding. The platform shows the approach to the limit in advance, so this never comes as a surprise.
AKJET is not a contractor marketplace: we do not source people or provide a ready database. You onboard those you already work with or have found yourself, and the platform handles paperwork, status checks, payouts and documents. Onboarding one contractor takes a few minutes.
Electronically. The contract and acts are signed online using a digital signature (E-IMZO). Under Uzbekistan law, an electronic document signed with a digital signature has the same legal force as a paper one with a handwritten signature.
Support responds during business hours at hello@akjet.uz and in messengers. After onboarding, a dedicated manager is assigned to the company to help set up the process, onboard the first contractors and handle the documents.
